New Art Exhibition for Joe Sorren

Joe Sorren, an old favorite of mine, paints and sculpts dramatic characters and scenes. If you happen to be near the Los Angeles area, you may be able to catch Joe Sorren’s opening this weekend, Saturday, November 6.

The artist’s persistence and pace have led to a stunning and comprehensive body of work over the last decade, much of which will be on display as the artist opens his first museum show in November at Cal State Fullerton’s Grand Central Arts Center. “Interruption” will feature ten new paintings, a retrospective of work from the past decade culled from numerous private collections, a subsequent book release, as well as a second showing in Sorren’s hometown of Flagstaff, AZ at the Coconino Center for the Arts. — Hi-Fructose

The show will be up until January 2, 2011 and will open again January 22, 2011 in AZ. See Joe Sorren’s website for more information.
