I am loving the sound of  A Mouthful of Thunder!  They are Band of Horses kind of chill with a slightly smoother, more laid back but complex sound.

Visit the Tugboat printshop if you want to see some awesome looking printmaking.  Artists Paul Roden and Valerie Lueth collaborate to create many of the pieces found on the site but do create solo work as well.

So where do I begin with Asheville, North Carolina’s RBTS WIN?  I guess I can start by saying they are (expletive-ing) AMAZING!!!!  I had the privilege of playing with them not too long ago.  I was already into what they were doing before, then after seeing them do what they do live solidified it for me.

In case you have not heard, Jack White is releasing a new album, Blunderbuss, on April 23/24.  But, I am not sure what is going on with the two days.  Could they not decide which day to release?
