This piece blurs the line between technology and art and allows the viewer to be part of the art work. The viewer can use various gestures to create negative space which the processor then converts to a form that drops onto the canvas or stage. The video above shows people interacting with the piece at the bitforms gallery in New York. Here is another video of Golan Levin’s Interstitial Fragment Processor.

An act of guerrilla gardening by 990 Sandy (i don’t know her real name, though I am sure the Mercedes Dealership would like to). In the cover of darkness Sandy transformed this Mercedes logo into a peace sign by adding a few bushes. I don’t know if the intent of this was art or not, but I tend to think it is as this works on so many levels.

I just finished the first of many themes that will be available for use on todayinart.com. todayinart.com – Dark is a simple theme that is, well dark. I know that some folks would rather not place work on white, so now you have black. I will continue developing these and listening for feedback. The next one in queue will be a neutral gray of some type.
If you have a theme or idea that you want to use please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate.
To see an example of theme go to the example blog, example.todayinart.com.
