The North Wind Blew South - by Keith Loutit

The North Wind Blew South is a tilt shift/stop animation piece by Keith Loutit.  This technique create a nice animation that feels as if you are watching models of real people, objects, etc. move about.  The music and imagery work well together and create a relaxing video that I really enjoyed.

I found this video to be very compelling especially with all of the advances being made in the fields of robotics. Andrew tells a story of a robot longing for something it can’t grasp.

Multi-channel DVD video installation. 30 minutes looped, silent CRT televisions, dvd player, signal booster RF modulator, RCA cable, coaxial cables & splitter.

Kelly Mark has a variety of wonderful work and choosing which one to publish was truly a challenge.  I suggest going to the site to see more works.
