The illustrations of Mario Sughi have a unique style using vivid color with complex lines and composition. Sughi’s chosen subject is people, often in public space.

I am so happy that I stumbled onto this last week. The Madness of Art is a series of humorous videos about art from a gallery perspective.

As a visual artist, I always enjoy music that inspires me and keeps me going. This post is intended to celebrate great musicians and give visual artists to share great musical inspiration.

Today’s art is by Fernando Chamarelli. Chamarelli’s work includes “mosaic, geometric elements, organic forms and harmonic lines connecting symbols, legends, philosophies, religions and customs of ancient and modern civilizations.”

Arkiv is an amazing painter, sculptor and toy maker.  His paintings are rich with color and fluid movement and his toys are sculpted with perfection.

Gabriel Campanario is the “Seattle Sketcher” of the Seattle Times.  Campanario regularly posts new drawings observing people and places in Seattle.
