Halftone is a great little app that gives photographs a great halftone vintage look.

In her series, Back to the Future, Irina Werning painstakingly photographs adults, recreating scenes from childhood photos.

Whitney Lynn works in various mediums, often including an element of performance. Lynn’s artwork can be seen in an upcoming exhibition, God Only Knows Who the Audience Is: Performance, Video, and Television Through the Lens of La Mamelle / ART COM.

Sze Tsung Leong’s series, Horizons, is an on going series of photographs from locations around the world. Each image is beautiful alone, but when seen together, one beside another, they take on new life.

James George creates unique and distorted views of the world around him by manipulating imagery captured from camera with code and audio soundtracks.  Being a tech junkie myself, I was initially drawn in with the imagery that he captured using an Xbox Kinect and an HD SLR camera.

ProCamera is a feature rich alternative camera app for the iPhone. This iPhone app has great zooming, editing tools, retouching tools, useful visuals while shooting and more.

I am drawn to Warren Krupsaw’s landscapes, particularly those which feel more abstract or present a reality that I have not actually experienced.

Bogdan Panait has a keen eye for composition and a beautiful sense of how images look in black and white.  Panait’s images are mostly landscapes with peaceful and empty serenity about them.

As the year comes to an end, I, like many, tend to reflect on the last year. One thing I enjoy is looking back to see what posts readers of Today in Art like most. The best way I have of doing this today is by looking at the most visited posts.
