This looks like an inspiring story and an awesome foundation. The Not Impossible Foundation is working to create solutions for impossible challenges. The EyeWriter is the first of these challenges and they are working with TEMPT to develop the technology.
The Last Names is comprised of Justin Rice and his wife Darbie Rice (Nowatka). Justin, also a founding member of Bishop Allen, is notable for his roles in a few indie films such as Harmony and Me, Let Them Chirp Awhile, and my personal favorite Mutual Appreciation, among others. Darbie is also a member of Bishop Allen, contributing vocals to some of their records as well as their live shows.

Willem Claassen fabricates large static and kinetic sculpture installations. What I find interesting about Claassen’s artwork is, first, the kinetic sculpture.

Jim Denevan creates huge, large scale works of art in sand, earth, ice and more. These works are almost always massive and can measure in miles or kilometers rather than yards or meters.
It is no big secret that I am a fan of Lisa Kellner’s work as I have previously featured her before on this website. Her silk sculptures are intriguing to me and her execution makes them come alive with movement.
I was not ready to start 2012 last week, but now I am ready to rock. This album released over the summer and is mainstream popular, but I am loving it.
